SeoGung Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant

"Had an amazing experience at Seo Gung Korean Buffet. The food quality and variety are honestly second to none, every section of the buffet had something worth going back for. From the meats to the side dishes, everything tasted fresh, authentic, and incredibly well-prepared. What really stood out though was the passion behind the restaurant. You can genuinely feel that the owners put their heart and soul into the place, not just in the food, but in the overall dining experience and atmosphere as well. It’s definitely more of a no-frills, budget-style buffet, but that’s exactly part of its charm. They focus on what truly matters, great food, generous variety, and an honest dining experience. For the price, it is unbelievably worth it and easily punches far above its weight. Definitely one of the best Korean buffet experiences I’ve had, and I’ll absolutely be coming back."

"This place is worth every penny. Let’s with a good and wide variety of side dishes that you can help yourself with from the buffer. Then, you get the pancake, which although plain, is tasty. It is includes in the price. The soju is also reasonably priced. The steamed egg and the kimchi soup are tasty too, and included in the price. The highlight is the limited but very tasty cuts of pork belly and pork collar, that are tender and juicy."

"The crew are very helpful and good service. They set up the charcoal and BBQ grill cover quickly, served the raw meats as well as the kimchi soup, steam egg, pancakes, lettuces, swiftly. In no time, our table is full of food... haha. There are also many side dishes to choose from. We were overwhelmed with all the food and lost track of the raw meat being grilled.. thankfully, the crew came to help us flip the meat and cut into pieces, saving it from over burned. The restaurant interior is nothing fancy. It is a corner lot, so it is not stuffy, though one may feel warm. Overall, we enjoyed the dining experience here."

"Buffet is RM42 per adult, which I find very reasonable for the experience. As soon as we sat down, the staff immediately served us with side dishes and initial items without us needing to ask, which is exactly as shown in the photo. I really appreciated how efficient and smooth everything was. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. For the side dishes (banchan), you’re free to take refills from the self-service side dish section. The BBQ grill tray was also well taken care of with the staff proactively changed it for us once it got too charred, which was a nice touch. It wasn’t a busy day when we visited, and I think we may have stayed beyond the time limit, but the staff didn’t rush or bother us at all, which made the experience feel very relaxed and welcoming. While the food selection isn’t extremely large, it’s more than enough for a satisfying meal. The atmosphere surprised me in a good way that despite being open-air, it wasn’t too noisy and we could chat comfortably. Standout food items for me were the pancake (a must-have!) and the samgyeopsal (pork belly). These two really left a strong impression, although everything overall was enjoyable. All in all, it was a pleasant dining experience with good service, decent variety, and a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely come back again."
